The Tearful Groom at The Four Seasons
Why I Love this Wedding Mini Story
Rebecca & Darren at their Four Seasons, Hampshire Wedding
I'd like to share with you a small series of wedding pictures from a small, COVId secure wedding I shot in October.
The Bride & Groom, Rebecca and Darren, decided to press on with their celebrations despite meaning they could only have 15 guests due to the regulations at the time.
The wedding was beautiful, none the less and Darren had told me earlier in the day that he was likely to be very emotional as he watched his bride walk down the aisle.
I positioned myself per the 2-metre rule as I wanted to capture Darren's expression before and during the moment he saw Rebecca for the first time.
There were other, personal family reasons that the wedding was going ahead when it did, and it was remarkable to see so much love and tenderness throughout the day.
You'll see in the short series below, Darren of course, and then Rebecca and her dad and her little boy as they walk down the aisle.
The Four Seasons at Dogmersfield in Hampshire is used to large, lavish weddings, but they produced a beautiful setting for this smaller one.
This post is part of my Why I Love this Wedding Picture series where I describe why I, as the photographer, love a particular image or series of photographs. You can, of course, see some full Wedding Stories and even more on the Journal and Wedding Photofilm pages.
