Gemma - Business Administrator & Studio Coordinator

Gemma plays a key role behind the scenes, managing the day-to-day administration of the business and coordinating client shoots.

Although not a professional photographer herself, Gemma has a strong creative background and is a talented painter with a deep appreciation for the arts.

If you get in touch via email or social media, it’s likely you’ll be speaking with Gemma. You can also find her on Instagram, where she occasionally shares her artistic work.

We also have two dogs, Breezie the Whippet and Monty the Border Terrier. Plus two ponies called Star and Hetty.

More about Kevin

I'm a dad, a husband, a former rugby player, and a lifelong Johnny Cash fan. I grew up in Wales, and although I now call the beautiful Cotswold town of Malmesbury home, I photograph weddings all over the UK—and occasionally further afield.

For me, a great photograph always carries a sense of humanity. I often describe my work, quite simply, as photographing “people being people.”

When I’m not behind the camera at a wedding, I run a series of Photography Workshops designed to help others develop their storytelling skills—whether on the street or at a wedding. I also offer a collection of Lightroom Presets, which I use myself and have developed over the years of refining my editing style.

If you'd like to understand more about my approach to wedding photography, have a look at my Documentary Wedding Photography page, where I explain the philosophy behind my work.

A little about you

You’ve read a bit about us—now let’s turn the focus to you. Whether you're planning your wedding, looking to refine your photography, or just exploring ideas, this is all about helping you take the next step.

Finding the right wedding photographer isn’t easy, but I’d love to help if I can.

Choosing someone to document such a personal day takes trust, and I don’t take that lightly. If my work resonates with you, I’d be genuinely honoured to be part of your story.

Wedding photographs that I hope make you smile

You’ve probably already read a bit about me, and maybe even dipped into my notes on Documentary Wedding Photography. Perhaps you’ve scrolled through my Wedding Photography Portfolio too—so by now, you’ll likely have a good sense of how I approach photographing a wedding.

And if you haven’t yet, do check out the Journal—it’s packed with hundreds of real weddings, each one captured naturally and with purpose.

By this point, I hope it’s clear that my style of wedding photography is a little different to what you’ll find from many others out there.

You’ll spend a lot of time, energy, and money on your wedding day. The question is: would you rather spend that day making memories with your family and friends, or spend hours posing for photos that don’t quite feel like you?

If you’re leaning towards the former, then I think you might just love:

  • Natural, unposed images

  • True storytelling photography

  • Photos that show people simply being people

  • Moments filled with emotion, and often a touch of humour

If that sounds like the kind of wedding photography you’re looking for, then I’d love to hear from you.
